About "Intoxicated"

"Intoxicated," is the title of "The Fix" fanlisting, because of the effects Nick fall under after taking the miracle drug in this episode. In it, Natalie has found a possible cure to make Nick mortal again. Nick takes the drug with high hopes that it will make him human permanently. Natalie's cure does seem to work though. Nick can go out in the sun and even eat real food, but the drug's effects are only temporary. Nick desperately wants more and starts to obsess over the drug. He starts to talk and act crazy and even has a hallucination in the middle of broad daylight. Natalie decides this drug is no cure. It's just a fix, but Nick won't believe it. She takes it away from Nick, but he sneaks in stealing the rest from her. In efforts to catch the murderer of Schanke's friend, Nick goes in the daylight again, getting himself mortally shot. After appearing dead, the killers plan to dump Nick off into the lake, but he comes back in full vampire form, taking care of them for good. Nick is back to himself again and realizes the flaws in both mortality and vampirism...

In the flashbacks, France - 1867, Nick is desperately searching for a cure to become human and goes to the "Resurrection Doctor." He believes this doctor can help him, but Janette does not trust the man at all. However, Nick does not listen to her and lets the doctor experiment on him, losing lots of blood and becoming weakened. In fear, Nick realizes his mistake and begs the doctor to stop when he bolts Nick down and starts flashing crosses in his face. Janette and LaCroix come just in time to save Nick from becoming the doctor's most treasured prize...

Favorite Quote: "I can have my humanity back...but only for as long and for as much as you're willing to give it to me. And..and..and, they will give me back my immortality, but only by night and only for exchange for my SOUL!!!!" - (out of control) Nick to Natalie

About The Fanlisting

What is a fanlisting? Well a fanlisting is a place for fans who come together and build a list of other fans with the same interest, this one being "The Fix" episode of course. The Fanlistings is the brilliant idea of Janine, who originally created the Buffy fanlisting and thought it would be interesting to find out where all the "Buffy" fans were from. Now, there are thousands of fanlistings for actors, tv shows, movies, books, and practically anything you can imagine. However, for each topic, there can be only one fanlisting.

Is this the Official The Fix fanlisting? Yes - in a matter of words. It is not approved by anyone to do with Forever Knight, but it is approved by Janine. If you see another The Fix fanlisting, report it to Janine.
