About "Addicted"

"Addicted," is the title of the "Feeding the Beast" fanlisting, because of Nick's struggles with his addiction to blood. In it, Nick goes undercover in a 12-step program to try and find a killer and also confront his addiction. There, he meets Monica, the sponsor of the program, but he doesn't realize she has an uncontrollable addiction as well. The program seems to be working and Nick even tastes some french fries. Natalie is impressed with that, but tells him not to get his hopes up too high. Nick also has dreams and visions of LaCroix encouraging him to drink blood from both the bottle and the living. Eventually, Monica reveals her addiction and tries to seduce Nick, but he sends her away, very hurt by her betrayal. Thirsting for blood more than ever, Nick goes to the Raven and tells Janette he is re-vamping himself and giving up on mortality. Janette does not believe him and tells Nick to work it off a little. Nick goes to the dance floor and meets a mortal woman, whom he almost drains. Janette stops him just in time and calls Natalie and Schanke for help. Nick leaves the Raven, out of control, planning to show Monica what backsliding really is. However, he snaps out of his phase after seeing her with another victim. He believes she is innocent and in the end discovers her sister is really the one to blame. Nick's hope is regained after realizing he just has to live with his beast and learn to control it. Everyone has their own addictions...

About The Fanlisting

What is a fanlisting? Well a fanlisting is a place for fans who come together and build a list of other fans with the same interest, this one being the "Feeding the Beast" episode of course. The Fanlistings is the brilliant idea of Janine, who originally created the Buffy fanlisting and thought it would be interesting to find out where all the "Buffy" fans were from. Now, there are thousands of fanlistings for actors, tv shows, movies, books, and practically anything you can imagine. However, for each topic, there can be only one fanlisting.

Is this the Official Feeding the Beast Fanlisting? Yes - in a matter of words. It is not approved by anyone to do with Forever Knight, but it is approved by Janine. If you see another Feeding the Beast fanlisting, report it to Janine.
